Unicorn Challenge - Paper Plate Unicorn
In this challenge, you will be making a unicorn to decorate a wall in your bedroom or someplace else you like. It’s your decision. Here are the guidelines.
FACE First, get a paper plate. It can be white, if you want to make a white unicorn, or colored, or you can paint a white one the color you want it to be.
EYES With a black marker, draw the eyes. Or you can have someone else draw the eyes. Or you can draw on googly eyes.
CHEEKS Make little circles for the cheeks. You can use marker, crayon, paint, or cut circles from colored paper.
EARS Cut out ears for your unicorn. Remember to make them a little longer so you can overlap them with the face. You can use tape or glue to make the ears stick to the face. Then add the pink inside color the same way you did the cheek so it matches. Make them far enough apart so that the horn will fit.
HORN Next you need to cut out the horn for your unicorn. It can be from glitter paper, or you can put glitter on it later, or no glitter. It’s up to you. Then glue or tape the horn on the head.
DECORATE The last step is to decorate your unicorn. You can use yarn, feather fluff, or draw on the hair. You can add stickers, jewels, or flowers. Or you can draw them on, too. Just use your creative powers.
Ask your Muggle Helper if you have questions or need assistance. She can also share some supplies you might need. Remember, unicorns are beautiful - just like you!
