Unicorn Challenge - Unicorn Donuts
In this challenge, you will be making unicorn donuts. It is their favorite thing to eat in the morning. Ugly Bugly, Caretaker of the Unicorn Barn, has to make them everyday. Here are the guidelines.
First, Get some plain cake donuts and frost them. There are two ways that work. (1) You can spread frosting like you do with a cupcake. (2) You can put frosting in a bowl and press the donut into the frosting. It depends if your frosting is thick or thin. Spread thick and dunk thin.
Next, find some sprinkles to sprinkle. Unicorns just absolutely love sprinkles. You could also use colored sugar like that which you use on Christmas Cookies.
When your cookies are all frosted and decorated, you need to find something you can use for a wand. It could be a stick, a pencil, a carrot, or a straw. It’s up to you.
Next, you will kiss the tip of the wand then wave it in a circle over the top of the donut while you say “I love unicorns.” Do that with each donut. Your love is what makes the donuts taste so delicious to the unicorns. (Try not to touch the donuts with your kissed wand because of germs. And if you need help with this part, ask Presley as she is taking Charms class and learning about spells like this).
Now you can eat the donuts and share them with your family. These are practice donuts. But don’t worry, Ugly Bugly makes a new batch every morning for the ones in the barn.
When you bite into the donut, sometimes a little bit of rainbow light will shine out. Watch for that. If you see it, you get to make a Unicorn Wish.
