This time of year, the students of Hogwarts celebrate Harry Potter’s birthday. There are many festivities from July 24th through August 2nd. One of everyone’s favorite event is the annual Escape Room sponsored by the teaching staff at Hogwarts. Unfortunately, Covid.

But do not dismay. We will have the first ever virtual Harry Potter Escape Room. Hello and welcome to the Fond du Lac (WI) Public Library's Harry Potter Virtual Escape Room.

For the first time, we have two student from Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, named Presley and Lilly. We knew we would need a little magic help to create access for these fine young ladies.

This escape room was made possible through the collaborative efforts of Gabriela Langholff & Kallie Schell of the Youth Services department at Fond du Lac Public Library www.fdlpl.org. We thank them for their efforts to bring this wonderful adventure to the Fond du Lac community. Yes! You heard right. You don’t need to be a student of Hogwarts to participate. You just need to love Harry Potter. Contact your Muggle Helper to start your adventure.

 

Due to the unavailability of an adult in the allotted timeframe, this activity was not completed through no fault of the student who very much indicated in advance of her desire to participate. 5 points are awarded for effort.
