HEART ART GRAFITTI
I am sponsoring these art contests to make sure that I take just a few minutes out of the month to make something wonderful and whimsical, and to encourage you to do the same. Think about all the dumbing and numbing things we can spend our time on. Make a little art instead because it’s good for your soul and you get a cool creation at the end. This month’s is even better because you actually get a valentine to keep or share as your love dictates. But never never never feel down if you don’t participate. Sometimes life is busy, sometimes we’re not in the right headspace, sometimes (fill in the blank). So go with the flow of your life and honor your limitations. I will honor them too. But if you can sneak in a few minutes of art, it will reward you exponentially.
This month’s challenge is to design some heart art grafitti. The only limit is your imagination. Here are some examples from the world-famous grafitti artist Bansky.
Note: do not create create your work on a building or box car or other property without the owner’s permission.
Send Granny a photo of your finished heart art entry. Tell her the name of the drawing and any special story elements that would increase its value.
THE ART CONTEST RULES
• The Art Contest is open to all family members, lovers, children of lovers, and all those who have had a broken heart.
• By the contest deadline Monday, 2-14-22 at 5:00 pm, send your photo! Additional photos are welcomed as well. The image of your heart art will be posted on the Life at 240 website and your permission is automatic if you enter the contest.
• On Monday, 2-14-22, the presentation to the winners will be announced or held on Zoom. Time will tell. An invitation will be sent to you if we Zoom.
