DAY 6
THE IMPORTANCE OF SELF LOVE

Today we’ll explore the importance of self-care and self-love. Taking care of yourself is not only a gift to you but also to those around you.

GRAB YOUOR JOURNAL AND ANSWER THIS ONE

How can you show yourself some love today to nourish your mind, body, and soul?

Create a self-love routine tailored to your needs. It could be as simple as a mindful walk or indulging in a favorite hobby.

THE ART OF SELF-LOVE

Self-love! It isn’t just about bubble baths and treating yourself (though Granny thinks those can be very nice). It's about treating yourself with the same kindness you'd offer a good friend.

Think of self-love as tending to a garden - your garden. It involves:

  • Nurturing the parts of you that are blooming

  • Being patient with the parts still growing

  • Sometimes doing the hard work of weeding out negative thoughts or habits

Self-love means accepting your whole self - achievements and mistakes, strengths and weaknesses. It's about saying, "I'm not perfect, but I'm perfectly me, and that's enough."

Here's the best part of self-love: When you fill your own cup with love and acceptance, you have more to give to others. It's like those safety instructions on a plane - put on your own oxygen mask before helping others.

Remember, you are so worthy of love and respect, especially from yourself. Show yourself some love today and every day? Your future self will thank you for it! We love you. - Granny & Paw

Design your own self-love menu. List activities that bring you joy, peace, and relaxation.

"Self-LOVE is never a selfish act—it is simply good stewardship of the only gift I have, the gift I was put on earth to offer to others."
