What is one thing you can do today that challenges you and boosts your self-confidence?

Step out of your comfort zone today. Whether it's speaking up in a meeting or trying something new, let confidence be your guide.

BUILDING UNSHAKABLE CONFIDENCE

Let's bust a myth: Confidence isn't about being the loudest in the room or never feeling scared. It's more like a quiet inner strength - believing in yourself even when things get tough.
• Building confidence is like building a house. Here’s the secret:
• Foundation: Know your strengths and weaknesses. Accept both.
• Walls: Positive self-talk. "This is hard, but I can learn" beats "I can't do this" any day.
• Roof: Action. Step out of your comfort zone. Try new things.

In our lifetime, Paw and Granny can’t even count the number of times we’ve been scared to try, to fail, to look stupid, to be judged, you name it. We’ve been afraid of a lot of things, terrified even. But we pushed ourselves and pushed each other to at least try. Far from perfect. But we did it. And our confidence grew - not because we were good, but because we tried.

Paw got really good at confidence when we was little. He had dyslexia, but no one figured that out until he was in high school. When he was in first grade, he struggled to learn to read, and even got held back a year. Instead of being ashamed of not being a good reader, instead of feeling bad when people judged him or teased him, he knew he was a good person. He says it’s because his mom gave him that little piece of gold in his heart (we talk about this in Day 3 of Set 3). He decided it didn’t matter what people thought because they were wrong. That’s confidence. And people could see it. Parents even asked Keith to talk to their child when they were held back a grade. Confidence isn't about being perfect or fearless. It's about knowing your worth doesn't depend on others' opinions.

Don’t worry about being perfect or fearless or what other people think. Your unshakable confidence is waiting to be built! We love you. - Granny & Paw
