SNOW-MAYS
This is the very first card Keith and I sent. It’s special to us for a few different reasons, aside from being our first. It established the idea of making these cards into self-portraits, a theme which continues to this day. Also, by the next year’s card, we moved to color printing, so this card is extra special because it is the only black-and-white image in the set.
A little later in the card designs, we started featuring a slogan, often a play on words. We also tried to find a way to include each recipient’s name on their card to make it a one-of-a-kind creation. You may also think at some point along the way, we started adding The Rat to our cards, but you would be mistaken. The Rat added himself.
