HOW TO AUCTION YOUR WORK
Send Granny a photo of your work and tell her whether you want a reserve. If so, tell her how much. If you are confused in any way, or just want to chat, give Granny a call. She always loves hearing from you. *Reserve is the minimum price you will take for the artwork.
HOW TO BID ON WORK
The Art Auctions will be announced to you in advance - usually 4-6 weeks notice. The date, time, and whether online or in person will be noted.
Any family member or sanctioned artist* can sell or buy art in the auction.
A family group text will be initiated at the date and time announced for the auction’s start. To bid, enter the name of the painting and your offer. You can also send encouraging compliments to the artist and threats to other bidders as the need arises.
Artwork being sold in the auction appears on the Auction Page. By clicking the artwork’s image, you can see a larger view and the following Art Auction Information will also be displayed on each work.
The winning bidder and the selling artist will make their own arrangements to exchange money and art.
* sanctioned artists are usually current boyfriends or girlfriends
