Grab your paint and brushes! There’s a lot of wonderful art ahead with Granny and Paw at the little Art Academy they built just for you!

We have lots of fun planned for you, so when you are bored this summer, give us a call and we’ll set up a Studio Session. You are invited to participate in any of the offerings and activities. No grades. No pressure. No criticism. Just the joy of art. We love you more than Vermeer. - Granny & Paw

Granny and Paw will be hosting Studio Sessions at your request.
So grab your box of art supplies. We can’t wait to make art with you!

THE ART SUPPLIES

Studio Sessions will require you to have a number of art supplies on hand. For specific lessons, there are some other things you will need from around your home (e.g., fabric, pictures from a magazine, brown paper bag). We’ll remind you about these ahead of time. Here’s the lists of what you will need in your Artist’s Tool Kit.

THE ART KITS

Sometimes, you don’t want making art to be too hard. You just want to putz around with something. For those times, you can look around your house for some ideas and materials, or give us a call and we might be able to help you with some art supplies for the project you have in mind. We stocked up on Art Kits which allow you to make terrific art projects. And some of those terrific art projects would make terrific art gifts. If there are any Art Kits you’d like us to stock, let us know and we’ll see what we can manage.

There are a few guidelines for the art kits because Granny loves order and is a little bossy.

1. You need to send us at least two photos of your project for your portfolio. The two shots we like the best are photo of you making the art, and a second photo of your finished project, but you can send whatever you decide.

2. If you want to show your projects in The Art Gallery or sell them in The Art Auction, just let Granny know and she’ll set that up.

There’s even more creativity and art to explore. You can sell or buy in the online art auction. Or maybe you’d like to enter one of Granny and Paw’s monthly art contests with spectacular prizes. You can visit the art gallery and see the work that you and other family members have contributed. Or you can visit the portfolios of our young artists and see how exquisite their work is. THE ART PORTFOLIOS

If you are interested in your Art Academy work, you are in the right spot. These portfolios contain artwork from the past year related to the Studio Session projects shown above and the work you did outside the classes that you chose to include. Just click on your folder and enter your password. Then you should feel very proud of yourself.

 THE ART CHALLENGES

From time to time, an artistic endeavor is so compelling and fulfilling that we just have to wallow around in it for awhile. Here are three projects, one of which is completed. We hope the other two are as much fun as the Dream Home.
